Gangaputrulu Cartoon contest

Gangaputrulu is a Telugu film made in the back drop of corporate greed versus the fishermen community. This film deals with their problems, their joys and their life in the wake of industrial pollution, over fishing by industrial trawlers and political apathy. We wish to conduct a cartoon contest to highlight this issue in a sensible way.

Topic:

Greed Vs Nature
(Over exploitation of natural resources, over fishing, political apathy)

This contest for cartoon aims to reflect the observations blended
with a unique sense of humor and thoughts of the cartoonists on the
topic.

Prizes:

1st Prize: Rs.10, 000
2nd Prize: Rs. 5, 000
3rd Prize: Rs. 3, 000

Consolation prizes: (4 )
( Prize money sponsored by F.A.M.E )

Rules & Regulations:

1 Only original cartoons are accepted. ( No limit for the number of cartoons one can send). Drawing technique is free.

2 Size A4 (210 X 297 mm).If you wish to send this through mail it should be 1080dpi.

3 Caption less cartoons are preferred. (Even an illiterate should understand and enjoy them).

4 Submitted cartoons will not be returned.

5. Selected works will be published in various websites and a touring exhibition will be conducted in selected locations (mostly where the film is intended to reach)


Property Rights:

Digiquest India will hold all the rights to publish the cartoons submitted to the competition and use them in any form (Cartoon album, publicity in the press and other media, posters, calendar, official gifts by the local authorities, organizers, etc.)
